Its been over a  year since Ive last posted something.... so many things have changed... my photography seems to be going places.. I'm just finishing the last year of high school, my final exam will be on monday and it'll be all over. 5 years of high school education. time really flies. 2009 has been a huge year for me. It started off with shooting music events... Parachute gave me opportunities to drastically improve my music photography skills and portfolio. School came along and I decided since its my last year, I've got to make the most of it; and I did. It's amazing how much you can get out of school if you put the effort into it. I p

Looking through my  gallery, I've found that I don't have a style of my own. There's nothing distinctive enough for someone who know what my shots look like to go 'thats a corinne picture'. When I look through some peoples work, they have something around the same theme, same ideas behind the who gallery. Perhaps its because I shoot by my mood, and I try make my pictures look too much like artists I adore? All I know is I have an eye for very very strong leading line composition, but I don't really put it to use... I don't like how my shots turn out wen I use it anyway :/ oh and I would very much like to be a concert/ events photographer. E

I went to the zoo today! brought my camera with my shiny new "nifty fifty" and managed to sneek in some good shots. I never knew the capabilities of a dslr until I really started using the d70, before that I always thought the only difference between my creative compact was the price and interchangeable lenses. Then one fine day I buy a second hand d70 and I'm dazzled by the image quality at 100%, the stunning bokeh-esp from the fifty, how fast the shutter reacts, and overall the unlimited control. I now only wish I had got it earlier instead of the damn creative compact (which I'm now trying to sell) I thought my cheetah picture was pretty

hey nice gallery! i agree with you about not having one particular style, i'm the same. maybe its to do with age? (i'm 14) :P i've noticed a lot of older photographers only do portraits for example
thanks! strange thing happened the other day though, I took a whole lot of beautiful macro shots but I didn't like them. I showed my best friend them and said its because that's not my style... she says my style is apparently mysterious?

I don't quite what she means by that, but it was quite interesting! Although I do think age does play a part, it takes time to develop a certain style.

I enjoy shooting concerts mostly, and in one shoot i noticed the only shots I liked were the ones where performers had their eyes closed or were screaming into the mic. I just love that expression. hmmm.
I love your photography! :)
